From "La Bichonnière" it will take you one day to visit the following places without you to hurry. These sites are between 15 and 35 kilometers from our premises:

Vézelay

Medieval city on the "eternal hill". Visit not to be missed. Sounds and lights during summer, concerts and for the gourmets or greedy, its famous restaurants that it is not allowed for us to quote.

For the flâneurs, walkers, the “not-amateurs” of old Stephan stones and Julia propose to you to visit Toucy (birthplace of Pierre Larousse) and its market of Saturday, the towns of Seignelay, Noyers, Tonnerre or Chablis, Irancy, St Breaking where visits of cellars are essential (attention with the alcohol abuse… it can be dangerous).

If however enough you do not have you can revive the legs with a turn of cyclo-rail of Puisaye or should visit the caves of Arcy on Cure, to bathe you in the Serene one, the Cure or in the artificial lake of the Bumblebee while passing by the park of Boutissaint where the animals in freedom côtoient themselves with the greatest joy of the visitors. You will be able also to balance you with the summit of the trees in the close “park of adventures” or to go to see the potters of St Amand and the Colette museum.

Possibility of hiring of “barge”, true livable pleasure boat for river walks on Yonne and its channels. Strongly advised reservation. Ask us, we will be made a pleasure of informing you.
